TROJ_VB.WP

This memory-resident Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped or downloaded by another malware. It has the nature of a dropper and a downloader.

When executed, it drops and executes a malicious file, which Trend Micro detects as WORM_GENERIC.Z. This worm, however, has code errors that cause failure in execution.

This Trojan has encrypted URL hardcoded in its code, enabling it to connect and download possibly malicious files. It, too, has defects in its code that causes its downloading routine to fail.
