This Trojan usually arrives as an attachment to email messages spammed by another malware or a malicious user. It uses a certain file name to trick users into thinking that it is a legitimate Windows updater application. It drops a certain file and creates a registry entry to enable its automatic execution at every system startup. It also drops a file detected by Trend Micro as TROJ_PANDEX.AJ.
